January 5, Sunday
6:00 PM | Visual Arts Exhibition: MEZTLI, Shadows and Reflections Artists: Betsabeé Romero and Annalisa Quagliata Two Mexican artists engage in a luminous dialogue of shadows and reflections through paper cutouts, screens, and canvases.
- Free access on Sunday, January 5, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM
- Every Thursday and Friday from 6:00 to 10:00 PM during Mérida Fest.

10:00 PM | Traditional Callejoneada and Alborada for Mérida’s 483rd Anniversary Dozens of troubadours sing the traditional “mañanitas” to the Noble and Loyal City of Mérida.
- Activity Program:
- 10:00 PM – Trio Trovanova – Santa Lucía Park
- 10:00 PM – Reyna Adriana – Under the Municipal Palace
- 11:15 PM – Callejoneada (troubadour parade): Starting from the four troubadour associations to the Municipal Palace (Pepe Domínguez, Armando Manzanero, Pastor Cervera, and Guty Cárdenas Associations), accompanied by the City of Mérida’s Official Ballet.
- 12:00 AM – “Mañanitas” to Mérida. Departure from Santa Lucía Park to the Municipal Palace.
January 6, Monday
8:00 AM | Traditional Mass for Mérida’s 483rd Anniversary
- Featuring: The Mérida Chamber Orchestra (Artistic Director: Maestro Russell Montañez Coronado) and the City of Mérida Choir (Artistic Director: Maestro Nidia Góngora Cervera).
- Location: Mérida Cathedral
4:00 PM | Workshop Theoretical-Practical Course on Artistic Ceramics Techniques Instructor: Rosario Guillermo
- Learn basic techniques for constructing hollow three-dimensional objects with artistic or decorative intent using ceramic materials.
- Duration: 40 hours
- Sessions: Monday to Friday, January 6 to 17, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

- What would happen if Kukulkán and Quetzalcóatl faced each other? This street theater invites the audience to witness an epic encounter of two deities and two cultures.
