Sabores de Yucatan Nov 16-20: Get Ready for Merida’s Biggest Gastronomic Festival!

We present to you the official program of the Sabores de Yucatán Gastronomic Festival. From November 16 to 20, Yucatán will become the gastronomic epicenter of the world. We will have the presence of many of the best chefs in the world, who will represent various culinary cultures. 

What is open for the public?

  • Gastronomic circuits to taste regional delights (info below). 
  • Special tours, and routes through markets and traditional taverns. (info below) 
  • Mercadito de Sabores at El Minaret Paseo de Montejo x 35 y 37

Additionally, there will be special events where attendees can immerse themselves in the rich tradition of Yucatecan cuisine. This festival is a window to the culinary richness of Mexico. GASTRONOMIC CIRCUITS

Visit various restaurants with one “gastronomic passport” and get to taste a sample of food at each restaurant. 

NOVEMBER 17-19

How to participate? 

  1. Choose your route.
  2. Purchase your gastronomic passport at El Minaret or Mercado 60.
  3. Head to your first establishment.
  4. When you finish your food consumption, ask for your passport to be stamped.
  5. Visit all points and collect all stamps on your passport.
  6. You have from November 17 to 19 to explore and
  7. “Discover each of the gastronomic circuits.

Barra Mexico

The Yucatán Flavors Festival joins Barra México from November 17 to 19, the most important event in Latin America for promoting new cocktail trends and serving as an educational platform for enthusiasts and creators of fine drinking. It is globally recognized as a leader in sustainability, being the first event in the industry with a zero carbon footprint and climate-positive impact in the world.

Barra México is aimed at both connoisseurs of good drinking and industry professionals, who come together in a space for the exchange of knowledge and inspiration. The event showcases the latest global trends presented by national and international experts. On this occasion, it comes in a special version tailored to Yucatán Flavors, offering a cocktail program divided into three main focuses: seminars and workshops, a Cocktail Week in consumption centers in the city of Mérida, and an exhibition space featuring local Yucatán brands.

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (international wine competition)

Likewise, the state will host the 7th edition of the Mexico Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles from November 15 to 18. This international championship is dedicated to rewarding and promoting the finest wine products crafted by Mexican hands. It marks the first time that a non-wine-producing destination becomes the venue for an event of this magnitude. To date, the participation of judges from Spain, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, France, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Colombia, and Mexico has been confirmed.
