Savor the Flavors of Mérida at the First-Ever "Festival Grill & Brews"

Mérida is set to host its inaugural gastronomic and cultural extravaganza, the “Festival Grill & Brews.” This event will offer flavor, entertainment, and fun for the whole family.

Taking place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, starting at 6:00 PM, the Festival will unfold at the Ba’axal Academy, located on the Mérida-Progreso highway, just 5 minutes from the periférico and adjacent to the renowned Foro GNP.

The Festival Grill & Brews provides a space for families to come together and enjoy an evening filled with entertainment and delicious grilled food. It combines the best of gastronomy, sports, and culture in one place, offering a complete experience for attendees. Also you’ll be able to check out and try products of local entrepreneurs and businesses specializing in grilled products, craft beers, and more.

At the festival, attendees can try a range of culinary dishes and even participate in a Master Class hosted by Chef Rafa Parra Inukay (Master Class has an additional cost).

There will also be an exhibition softball game featuring the Guerreras Mayas and a grill competition led by Chef Juan Ramón Ramírez.

The event includes a beer forum where exhibitors and experts in the field will share their insights, history, and anecdotes related to their products and production processes. As the day progresses, a DJ will set the mood, and the evening will culminate with live music and a concert by the legendary Mauricio Zoreda, delivering a grand finale.
