On this trip, we stayed at Narrativ Lofts, a set of chic, mid-century-inspired accommodations located on the famous Calle 59. This cobblestone street, lined with restored colonial buildings, runs through the historic center, offering beautiful views of the Puerta de Tierra and Puerta del Mar, the two gates that once protected the city from pirate attacks. Narrativ Lofts couldn’t have a better location, and with free street parking available, convenience is another bonus.
Narrativ Lofts offers four stunning units: Casa Numen and Casa Lira, located in a beautifully renovated 17th-century building, and Serena and Solario, just around the corner. Each loft exudes simplicity and elegance, with Mexican artistic touches that make the space feel authentic and inviting. Fully equipped with a kitchen, bath, beds, A/C, and double-paned windows to keep the cool and quiet in, these lofts are designed to ensure a comfortable stay.
We stayed in Casa Numen, which boasts a long balcony overlooking the vibrant Calle 59. The high ceilings, chukum walls, and contemporary furnishings create a warm, earthy atmosphere that’s both stylish and functional. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, the thoughtful design and central location of Narrativ Lofts make it easy to do both.
