La Noche Blanca 2024 celebrates “Learning is the Beauty of Living”. In its 17th edition, learning transcends mere acquisition of knowledge to become an immersive artistic experience. Mérida will come alive on May 24th and 25th, offering a rich tapestry of cultural activities. Museums, galleries, cultural centers, restaurants, and the vibrant artistic community will unite in public spaces, creating a synergy that permeates the city. This year there are some new events also outside of Merida as well as guest artists from Colombia, Cuba, Spain, and England.
With 300 activities planned, including 70 on The Eve and 230 during La Noche Blanca, Mérida emerges as the epicenter of culture and the arts.

1000 participants, including artists and creative bazaar exhibitors, will contribute their talent to La Noche Blanca and the eve of.
For the first time, artistic groups from various municipalities within the state will showcase their talent, hailing from Valladolid, Ticul, Dzidzantún, Tizimín, Progreso, and Kanasín.
Featured Municipalities/Invited Communities:
- Progreso: Yucatecan Trova with the guitar workshop from the Progreso House of Culture (Music).
- Tizimín: Epic Soundscapes – Orchestral Journey through Fantastic Worlds with the Mérida Municipal Youth Orchestra and the Tizimín Youth Symphonic Band (Music).
- Valladolid-Xocén: Peasant Theater (Theater).
- Ticul: Yucatecan Stamp – Ticul Folkloric Ballet (Dance).
- Kanasín: Creative Seedbed (Theater).
- Dzidzantún: Regional Parade with Brass Band and Folkloric Ballet
The universities UADY, UNAY, Universidad Modelo, and for the first time, UNAM’s Museum of Light will enrich La Noche Blanca with artistic and learning activities.
On May 24th, enjoy “The Eve” of La Noche Blanca with guided tours of the Historic Center, Night Bike Route, the videomapping “Island of Light,” at the Monumento a la Patria, live music on Paseo Montejo, and literary and antique bazaars in Parque de Santa Ana and Santa Lucía.

Áurea Vol. II returns with its fusion of electronic music and digital art at Parque de la Paz (Hot Chip DJ Set headlines Áurea).
Art collecting and appreciation will be showcased with 32 galleries located in the downtown area and different neighborhoods of the city.
Music, visual arts, theater, cinema, dance, regional comedy, children’s activities, circus arts, literature, fashion, performance, and learning workshops
Parks, museums, theaters, alternative venues, galleries, and academic institutions will serve as venues for two nights filled with art and culture for everyone.
Experience Noche Blanca at 11 parks, 9 museums, 2 theaters, 18 alternative venues, and 32 galleries.
The best of gastronomy will be present as well featuring authentic kitchens, art bars, food trucks, international cuisines, traditional kitchens in Ermita, offerings from Colectivo Amix, and restaurants affiliated with the National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry and Seasoned Foods (CANIRAC) in Yucatán.
