Merida’s biggest cultural night is back and it is time to block off your calendar, make transport arrangements and restaurant reservations now!

 PARKING IS VERY HARD TO FIND UNLESS YOU GO VERY EARLY.  We recommend making other arrangements and be prepared to walk! 

This is a night where thousands of people come to the Centro of Merida and the City of Merida has organized hundreds of cultural events and activities including dance, music, theater, art and more will be on display for the citizens of Merida to enjoy. All the galleries, theaters, parks and cultural centers  are also participating. Restaurants will be open and the scene will be alive with energy and creativity!

Noche Blanca activities are also happening in Itzimna as well as other parts of the city, you can check the schedule to find out.

Flagship Orchestra of Cuban Popular Music


Event description: Flagship orchestra of Cuban popular music, founded in 1969 by the composer, bassist and arranger Juan Formell who, after his death, in May 2014, his son Samuel Formell assumed the direction of the group. Considered internationally as the Rolling Stones of salsa, and nationally as El Tren de la Música Cubana, it has been the cradle of prestigious musicians, and is the creative group and defender of SONGO, while it has received influences as varied as of Rock n’ Roll, funk and Pop. The orchestra is distinguished by the use of picaresque in its lyrics, which is why it has been a chronicler of its times and has placed many phrases in popular slang. Colombian Music Collective


Event description:Colombian music collective influenced by the Sound System of the Caribbean DJ culture. Their music combines Caribbean rhythms, champeta, bullerengue, cumbia, vallenato and salsa in the genre they call “berbeneutika” . It is part of the Colombian rock groups that have fused electronic music with traditional Colombian rhythms. You can’t miss them! For the entire family

Chilean Multi-Instrumentalist Musician


Event Description:Chilean multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and producer. His career includes being one of the managers of the Matanza group with whom he developed for almost ten years, compositions loaded with influences from folklore and electronics. He has five published record productions that become part of the global organic electronic movement, where collaborations with different brothers and colleagues on the road are born. His music has led him to perform on different stages in Europe, Mexico and South America.
