Mérida’s food scene continues to impress, and our latest culinary adventure led us to Piazzare, a relatively new Italian restaurant with a spectacular view of Santa Ana Park and the lively energy of Calle 60. After hearing glowing reviews, we finally had the chance to indulge in a late lunch/dinner—and we were not disappointed!

From the moment you step inside, Piazzare makes you feel at home. At lunchtime, guests are greeted with a complimentary sample of draft cold German beer—a refreshing treat on Mérida’s warm days. If you visit in the evening, you’re welcomed with a taste of the house wine as you browse the extensive menu.

🌿 Extra-Large Artichoke
A comforting dish served with a luxurious four-cheese cream sauce, accompanied by fresh flatbread. Rich, creamy, and utterly satisfying!
🍕 Pizza Margherita
This classic Italian pizza was a standout, with a perfectly balanced tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and organic basil. The sourdough crust added a delightful chewiness that brought everything together.
🥩 Filetto Piazzare (House Special)
A beef filet medallion bathed in a decadent four-cheese sauce, served with roasted rosemary potatoes and vegetables. The tender beef and rich, creamy flavors made this dish unforgettable.
🍰 House Tiramisu
To end on a sweet note, we indulged in the house tiramisu—a light, creamy, and coffee-infused dessert that was the perfect finale to an incredible meal.
