We stayed at KatNap Sisal for two nights and three days, and the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. We only saw one other person on the beach—for the most part, we had it completely to ourselves. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely stunning, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. The home had all the comforts we needed, from a cozy living space to strong Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. It was the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience.

Although the road from Sisal to KatNap House is unpaved and can be rough, any car can handle the drive outside of the rainy season. During heavy rains, an SUV or high-clearance vehicle is recommended.

🍽 Bring your own food so you don’t need to go back into town. That’s part of the charm—cook your own meals, wake up to freshly brewed coffee, and enjoy a glass of wine at sunset.
The water pressure is amazing! Showers are refreshing and relaxing after a day on the beach.
📡 High-speed internet makes it ideal for remote work or watching your favorite series at night on the big screen TV.
A Unique Stay in a Pueblo Mágico
Sisal, designated as a Pueblo Mágico, is a charming coastal town known for its rich history, stunning beaches, and faded murals of beach life and local people and fauna. Visitors can explore the charming Yucatecan town that has two speeds: slow and stop. There are some awesome seafood restaurants we recommend El Muelle de Sisal , Palmar Sisal , and Palapa de Soco and for the best coconut sweet store is La Reina del Coco. For a boat tour through the nearby mangroves is my absolute favorite thing to do in Sisal. We recommend Zizha tours for fishing and mangrove tours to see flamingos and fresh water springs! For those craving adventure, kayaking, fishing, and birdwatching are just a few of the activities that make Sisal a hidden gem on the Yucatán coast.
