Italian food lovers in Mérida have a new spot to add to their list! Osteria Rotella has officially opened its second location at Plaza Vector, bringing its homemade artisanal pasta and Italian-inspired cooking to a larger new space in the north of the city.
After the success of its first restaurant on Avenida Yucatán, Osteria Rotella is expanding with a renewed menu that stays rooted in traditional Italian cooking while introducing some fresh, contemporary touches.
We recently joined the Osteria Rotella team to celebrate the opening and get a first look at the new restaurant.
Homemade Pasta at the Heart of the Menu
One of the things that has always stood out about Osteria Rotella is its homemade artisanal pasta, prepared in-house using traditional techniques.
The menu combines carefully selected ingredients, familiar Italian recipes and some more creative specialties, giving you plenty of reasons to come back and try something different.
The new Plaza Vector location also gives Osteria Rotella considerably more space, creating a comfortable setting for everything from a casual lunch to dinner with friends.
